One Line UPDATE: Cloudflare says they've found the issue and fixed it!
Things should start getting back to normal very soon, but some sites might still be a bit slow.

Hey fam,

If you're reading this, you might be wondering why some of your favorite websites suddenly stopped working today. if yes then don't worry,
"You're not alone!" Just an hour ago, I was also trying to chat with ChatGPT for my project,
it says
"Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed."
then checked my feed on X (Twitter), and then i checked Canva and BAM! Nothing.
Just frustrating error messages!
At first i thought i messed up with my pc or network settings but later i got to know about this.

If so, you didn't break the internet, and your computer is fine! The problem is much bigger actually.

ChatGPT is down

This isn't just a small issue; when Cloudflare has problems, it affects tons of websites and online services that rely on Cloudflare to keep running smoothly & securely.

A LOT!

We've seen reports that major players like:
ChatGPT
X (formerly Twitter)
Canva
Discord
Even online games like League of Legends and Valorant had issues!

So What Was the Problem? (In Simple Terms!)

Cloudflare confirmed they were having "widespread 500 errors" and that their own dashboard was failing. They quickly launched an investigation to find the root cause.

BTW This isn't the first time big internet services have had issues recently.
We've seen similar massive outages affect Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure not too long ago.
It reminds us just how connected and sometimes fragile our online world can be!

Is There a Fix? YES!

So the good news is that Cloudflare has identified the cause and has started rolling out a fix! Things should be slowly but surely returning to normal. You might still experience some slowness as everything catches up, but the worst should be over now.

PRO TIP: Do You Need an AI chatbot RIGHT NOW while ChatGPT is still waking up?

Microsoft's Copilot (which uses similar awesome AI tech as ChatGPT) seems to have sailed through this outage without a hitch! If you're desperate for an AI assistant, give Copilot a try. It's a great alternative!

Google's Gemini is also a great alternative you can try that also, seems like a nice time to try new AIs because again " you know how fragile our online world is".
